Yet another theory ... If the results of ballistics show that the shot wasn't at close range (no powder burns on Martin), then that would explain the second degree murder charge.

But isn't it true that it's theoretically possible for a particle (e.g. possibly a neutrino) to come into existence already traveling faster than the speed of light? That is, it always travels faster than light. This doesn't contradict general relativity or quantum theory, does it?

Since this was not a study but was a review of previous studies, each of which one can assume had a unique design (e.g. different controls and variables, etc.), then any conclusions drawn from the review are no more than curiosities.

So, JohnC, you're saying that the increase in behavioral and disciplinary problems in kids today is proof that these studies are bogus because kids are spanked less today than 50 years ago? I'm sure you see the flaws in that logic.

JohnC, the article doesn't say anything about children 50 years ago. It also doesn't say that children today are any more or less aggressive than 50 years ago.
