  • Since this was not a study but was a review of previous studies, each of which one can assume had a unique design (e.g. different controls and variables, etc.), then any conclusions drawn from the review are no more than curiosities.

  • So, JohnC, you're saying that the increase in behavioral and disciplinary problems in kids today is proof that these studies are bogus because kids are spanked less today than 50 years ago? I'm sure you see the flaws in that logic.
